Love this read! I have started to explore farther out, here in KC, to find trails like you describe for my long run days. And, there is something about those little "hellos" while riding or running that lift the spirit. Heck, yesterday on my long training ride (65 miles), I rode by a long line of motorcyclists out for a spring ride. Everyone one of them gave me the bikers wave...man was it cool. Hope you find the joy in your new trail, just like you had in your old ones. Happy Running!
Love this part of the trial its one of my favorites in omaha wish it continued east to downtown somehow ...if you didnt know scriptown has a Thursday night run from their parking on the trial and up to 36th street and back usally a pretty big group its more of a fun run ...plus discount beer for runners after check Facebook.
Thanks for reading! I actually lived right around the block from there. Always got home too late, as it was already off and running. Work just too far away!
Nice homage to the trail. Embrace where you are at and find ways to challenge yourself.
Absolutely!

That’s awesome! I love the community of it all, so it’s cool when stuff like that happens.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Jeff. Really appreciate you reading these!
