Really enjoy reading these updates. What types of strength training are you doing? I’ve been debating for quite a while on whether to add to my week and can’t figure out what’s best/most effective.

Hey Steve, thanks for reading! I do a pretty simple circuit that I found in “Faster Road Racing: 5k to Half Marathon” — seated tricep presses, lunges, dumbbell lat rows, weighted crunches, shoulder presses, and squats — fairly simple and I knock them out in 20 minutes once a week. Hoping to go 2x a week starting post-Lincoln. I have been pleased with the results. My legs really feel stronger right now.

Awesome, thank you! I feel like my legs always give way before my cardio does on long runs, so just trying to build some strength. I’ll look that plan up and give it a shot. Do you have a link to your Strava profile? I’m on that as well - not trying to be a creeper, just like to follow your journey to Boston!
